South Cape Irrigation (Afrikaans – Suid-Kaap Besproeiïng or SKB) was established in 1989 as the first independent irrigation company in the George area of South Africa. SKB’s goal has always been to design accurate and cost-effective irrigation systems and with the help of excellent service, ensure our client base continues to grow. To guarantee the satisfaction of our ever expanding client base, we are in search of a dynamic and driven Irrigation Designer to join our team. We cover large parts of the Western – and Eastern Cape, and potential candidates must be willing to operate at our office, situated in George, as well as be comfortable with remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in our area.
- Provide expert advice on irrigation systems, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct site visits, assess client requirements, survey and design appropriate irrigation solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in irrigation.
- Work closely with the technical and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction from consultation to after-sales support.
