Training
|
SAPWAT training |
SABI IrrigationWise Training will be introducing SAPWAT training in 2021 – and this course is sure to be very much in demand.
Award winning SAPWAT is a well-known WRC funded model used by irrigation designers for the determination of crop water requirement to ensure sufficient water during the growing season.
This course will cover the basics to understand all the options to use the model effectively, as well as highlighting the functionalities applicable to irrigation water management.
This includes the use of weather data, crop coefficients, soil texture, root depths, leaching fraction requirements, irrigation system efficiencies, distribution uniformities, wetted areas and water balances. |
Online training |
Please note that during these indoor-bound months you can do online training with us – the D1 is now available online, and can be completed in your time at your own pace. |
SABI Schools Training |
|
Our thanks to Agrico for sponsoring SABI Schools Training – our ongoing and much-admired educational endeavour, which has introduced many learners to irrigation and the importance of optimum irrigation and water conservation.
- Do have a look at the SABI website for all the updates on our training as well as the curriculum. Please email us at info@sabi.co.za or admin@sabi.co.za for any training related queries.
