Membership matters |
Please note that SABI membership invoices were send out to all members in February. Should you have any queries please feel free to call the SABI office on 021 – 850 8220.
May we please request that you use your membership number as reference when you pay your membership fees.
Paid-up members will receive a Certificate of Verification to prove that they are paid up members for 2017. Please note that members who have not paid their 2016 membership fees are no longer SABI members. Please do report to us if you are aware that non -members are using the SABI logo.
We would like to ask you: have a look at your membership status please. If you think you must upgrade your membership category, please contact Riana on riana@sabi.co.za.

Remember that it is important to accumulate points to maintain your SABI Approved Designer status. There are several Approved Designer Members who did not accumulate the required 5 points during last the two year term.

SABI Congress 2017 |
|
SABI Congress takes place this year at the pristine Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West, within great vicinity to the winelands, the sea and the city of Cape Town.

Mottech staff changes announced |
Mottech SA’s Launce May says:
“We wish to welcome Sinako Beje on board as our Trainee Technician residing in Polokwane.
Sinako joined Mottech in August 2016 and is undergoing training on our product range.
Celito Graca is stationed in Witbank and will continue with Technical Duties in a scaled down format and be available for sales and marketing of our product range in Polokwane, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Swaziland .
Pieter Pretorius is Leaving Mottech on Sales and has Joined Karel Strydom at Aqua designs as a business partner .We wish him well in his venture.
Lance Dale has left our employ as a technician and we welcome Randall O’ Ryan who has joined us from January in his place.
We have continued our commitment of youth development and are currently developing Clifford January in Upington over the next 6 months to then join our software support team in July.
Reginal Van Wyk is being developed in Hexvallei as our resident Support Technician under the watchful eyes of Rohann Nel our Technical Head.
We have engaged the services of a service agent for Southern Namibia to look after our end users along the Orange River. He will be responsible for Technical support both to Mottech and the designers marketing in the area. Sales will take place as per normal policy via Registered Irrigation Designers.
More expansion announcements will be made later in the year on Marketing and Service agents to further enhance our product range.”
