We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an Irrigation Designer to join our well established team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Surveying and setting out of irrigation systems and pipelines.
- Design irrigation systems with the use of Model Maker / IrriCAD.
- Have an understanding of pump selections and designing of pump rooms.
- Draft bill of quantities and work on tenders.
- Familiarity of different irrigation systems.
- Technical assistance to clients as required.
- Travelling is required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Fully proficient in CAD software.
- Good agricultural product knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills .
- Experience working in the field and attending to installations.
- 3-5 years’ experience in an irrigation environment.
- Previous SABI training.
